Perform nondestructive inspection of hub inaccordance with table 2-1.b. Inspect hub bolt hole ID for wear. Wear limitshall not exceed 0.5015 inch.c. Inspect hub-bearing bore ID for wear. Wearlimit shall not exceed 5.2520 inches.d. Inspect hub for mechanical or corrosiondamage.(1) Mechanical or corrosion damage tothread inside hub.(2) Mechanical damage shall not exceed0.010 inch in depth on the flat surfaces at the end ofscissors attachment lugs and the surroundingsurfaces within 0.60 inch of these ends(3) Mechanical damage shall not exceed0.010 inch in depth on the 0.4995-inch bore surface(4) Corrosion damage shall not exceed0.005 inch in depth on the flat surfaces at the end ofthe scissors attachment lugs on the surroundingsurfaces within 0.60 inch of these ends(5) Corrosion damage shall not exceed0.005 inch in depth on the 0.4995-inch bore surface.(6) Mechanical damage shall not exceed0.035 inch in depth in all areas of hub other thanspecified in (1) (2), and (3) above.(7) Corrosion damage shall not exceed0.017 inch in depth.(8) Damage in any one area shall notexceed 0.25 square inch in area or 0.75 inch in any onelength.(9) Mechanical damage to surfaces sur-rounding a hole, within a distance of 1.5 times theradius of that hole shall not exceed 0.010 inch indepth.(10) Corrosion damage to surfaces sur-rounding a hole within 1.5 times radius of that holeshall not exceed 0.005 inch in depth.(11) Inspect hub bolt hole for scoring.
