enclosure (WP 0112 00).
REMOVAL
WARNING
The fuels used on the heating system are highly explosive. DO NOT smoke or use open
flame when performing maintenance. Flames and explosion could occur resulting in severe
personal injury or death.
NOTE
This procedure can be used to replace either fuel solenoid valve.
1. Disconnect fuel hoses (1 and 2) from quick--connect fittings (3 and 4).
2. Slide air inlet screen (5) out of air box (6).
3. Remove six nuts (7), lock washers (8) and flat washers (9), then remove cover (10) from air box (6).
4. Remove two screws (11), then remove cover (12) and gasket (13) from outlet body (14).
5. Tag and disconnect wires of solenoid valve (15) inside outlet body (14).
6. Remove two screws (16), then remove cover (17) from outlet box (18).
7. Loosen conduit nut (19) then pull conduit (20) off of outlet box (18).
8. Disconnect fuel tube (21) at elbows (22 and 23).
9. Disconnect fuel tube (24) at adapter (25) or fuel tube (26) at elbow (27).
10. Loosen conduit nut (28), then remove solenoid valve (15) from outlet box (18).
11. Unthread nipple (29) and two conduit nuts (30) from solenoid valve (15).
12. Unthread elbow (22) and adapter (25) or elbows (23 and 27) from solenoid valve (15).
13. Clean pipe thread sealant off of elbow (22) and adapter (25) or elbows (23 and 27).
