REMOVAL
WARNING
The fuels used on the heating system are highly explosive. DO NOT smoke or use open
flame when performing maintenance. Flames and explosion could occur resulting in severe
personal injury or death.
Thermal fluid can reach temperatures near 400o F when the heating system is operating.
Allow thermal fluid and heating system piping to cool prior to performing maintenance.
Always wear gloves and eye protection. Failure to follow this precaution could result in
severe burn injuries.
1. Disconnect air tubes (1 and 2) from air tubes (3 and 4).
2. Remove four screws (5), lock washers (6), and flat washers (7) securing heater enclosure (8) to heater frame
(9).
3. Disconnect ignition wires (10) from electrodes (11).
4. Loosen captive nut (12) and remove flame detector (13) from sight tube (14).
5. Disconnect fuel tube (15) from fuel pipe (16). Cover fuel tube (15) to prevent contamination.
6. Remove four screws (17), lock washers (18), and flat washers (19) securing burner assembly (20) to
combustion chamber (21).
7. Lift up slightly on heater enclosure (8) then lift burner assembly (20) out of combustion chamber (21).
