7. User B, turn transceiver to search mode by pressing and holding the red button (Figure 2) until you
hear three beeps and "SE" appears on the screen.
NOTE
While in "Search" mode, keep the tracker at least 12 inches away from all electrical
equipment including cell phones.
8. User B walk towards User A. Ensure transceiver receives signal when approaching User A. Signal is
received when transceiver beeps and a directional indicator lights up (Figure 2). The digital display
screen (Figure 2) will display approximate distance in feet.
9. Verify opposite function of each transceiver. Users move at least 40 meters apart. User B, place
transceiver in transmit mode by pressing the red button (Figure 2) once.
10. User B, walk towards User A. Ensure transceiver receives signal when approaching User A. Signal is
received when transceiver beeps and a directional indicator lights up (Figure 2). The digital display
screen (Figure 2) will display approximate distance in feet.

12. User A, turn transceiver to "Search" mode by pressing and holding the red button (Figure 2) until you

received when transceiver beeps and a directional indicator lights up. The digital display screen (Figure
2) will display approximate distance in feet.
14. Turn transceivers to "OFF."
