CLEANING
WARNING
Be careful to avoid scalding injury from hot water. Use hand protection. Failure to comply with
this warning may lead to injury to personnel.
NOTE
Depending upon how dirty your cams are and what lubricants have been used in the
past, they may require several cleanings to work all the dirt and old lube out from the
axle. Failure to comply may lead to damage to equipment.
1.
Heat water in a pan until it is near the boiling point.
2.
Swish the cam head (Figure 1) in hot water, while working the trigger bar (Figure 1), being very
careful to avoid burns.
