Rope, Kernmantle, 11-millimeter (Static Installation Rope, Marine Use)
Nylon, static, kernmantle rope (Figure 32) is primarily used for rope installations such as rappels, high
lines, lowering lines, low-angle evacuation, and fixed ropes.

Shovel, Avalanche
The avalanche shovel (Figure 33) has a removable scoop and a hollow handle for storing the avalanche
probe. It has an offset, movable handle.
