Washer, Rope
The rope washer (Figure 36) is constructed from PVC and fits any standard spigot or garden hose. It
flushes foreign materials out of ropes up to a half-inch in diameter in order to keep it clean and preserve
its strength and service life.

Webbing, Mountaineering, Type I and II
Type I webbing (Figure 37) is 11/16-inch pre-sewn nylon. It is used to extend a piece of protection, such
as an anchor, around trees and rocks, to tie a friction knot, and as a sling to carry equipment.
